MPMF '09

You’ve probably already seen the poster above, but just in case…

I’m exited to announce that I’ll be playing MidPoint this year with a full band! Mike, Tony, Sharon, Josh and I will be closing the Washington Platform stage Friday night, September 25th. We go on at 11:30… it’s going to be a great night of music starting with Jake Speed & The Freddies at 8:30.

With over 300 bands in three days, MidPoint Music Festival is the 2nd largest music festival in the United States, second only to South By Southwest in Austin. For more information, check out mpmf.com and we’ll see you there!

This Friday, September 11th, Mike, Tony and I will be taping an episode of the new TBNK (Telecommunications Board of N. Kentucky) show called “Late Night Snack.”  It’s a performance/interview show in the mold of the old “Sessions at West 54th Street” show on PBS.  These are the same folks that recorded the “Between the Pages” show, from which we’ve posted some video here.  We’ll be taping this week as an acoustic trio…  probably 6 or 7 songs and an interview.  Not sure yet when it’ll air, but I’ll be sure to let you know where and when you can see it!
